Young Female Leaders School for EU Integration

The project “Young Female Leaders School for EU Integration” is implemented by Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation in partnership with KWB Koordinierungsstelle Weiterbildung und Beschäftigung with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The project is aimed at supporting young women who seek to develop their leadership skills, strengthen their role in society, gain a better understanding of European integration processes, and turn their own ideas into practical initiatives for communities.

Project goal

To strengthen the leadership potential of young women from three regions of Ukraine, support their civic engagement, expand their knowledge of European values and European integration processes, and promote the development of women-led initiatives aimed at positive changes in communities.

Target group of the project

The target group of the project includes young women from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, and Bukovyna who:

  • seek to develop their leadership competencies;
  • are interested in civic engagement, community development, and European integration;
  • want to strengthen their own role in social change;
  • have ideas for local initiatives or are ready to develop them within the project.

Key components of the project

1. Training programme
Participants will take part in a series of training activities focused on leadership, civic participation, European values, teamwork, initiative development, and strengthening the role of women in society.

2. Training with trainers from Ukraine and Germany
The project involves cooperation with leading trainers and experts from Ukraine and Germany, which will make it possible to combine local experience with international approaches.

3. Building a community of young women leaders
The project will become a space for new connections, exchange of experience, mutual support, and the development of a strong interregional community of active young women.

4. Development of ideas and initiatives
Participants will work on their own ideas and will be able to transform them into practical mini-projects aimed at community development and support for social change.

5. Financial support for the best initiatives
The best initiatives developed by participants will receive financial support for implementation, helping to transform learning into concrete action and practical results.

Expected results

As a result of the project:

  • young women from three regions of Ukraine will strengthen their leadership competencies and civic engagement;
  • participants will gain new knowledge about European integration, women’s leadership, and opportunities to influence community development;
  • an interregional community of young women ready for cooperation and mutual support will be formed;
  • participants will develop their own ideas and initiatives;
  • the best initiatives will receive financial support for practical implementation;
  • the project will contribute to shaping a new generation of women leaders who are building Ukraine’s European future.
