Beside Those Who Have Lost the Dearest

Every day we meet mothers, wives, and children who live with the pain of loss. Heroes have given their lives, remained in captivity, or gone missing. And their families wake up every day with the thought: “Dad didn’t come home,” “My husband didn’t call,” “Our son is still not on the lists.”

These families need not only assistance — they need the feeling that their pain has not been left in silence. They must know: there are people nearby who will not leave them alone with their pain.

We help those who bear the unbearable burden of loss. These are not just certificates. This is the assurance: “You are not alone.” This is our gratitude and our remembrance.

Every family of a fallen, missing, or captive Hero is our shared pain and our shared responsibility.
