25 Years of the “Upper Prut” Euroregion

The “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation joined in organizing the anniversary round table in the Romanian city of Siret, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the “Upper Prut” Euroregion.

The Euroregion, which includes the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, has for a quarter of a century served as a bridge of trust and partnership between the border communities of Ukraine, Romania, and Moldova. Thanks to this cooperation, new opportunities for development, cultural exchange, and mutual support have emerged.

For us, it is especially important that the Euroregion continues to be a platform that strengthens friendly ties between Ukraine and Romania, helps overcome today’s challenges, and allows us to look together into the future.

Representing the Foundation at the event were:

  • Serhii Hakman, Vice President of the Foundation
  • Nataliia Nechaieva-Yuriychuk, Head of the Regional Office

We believe that the strong bonds and shared values of the border regions will continue to serve as the basis for development and new joint projects.
