The final stage of the Business School within the project “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: One Plus One” has concluded in Chernivtsi. Veterans and their family members presented and defended their own business plans.
After the presentations and discussions, the jury members summed up the scores at a joint meeting and selected six winners, who will receive grants of up to 400,000 UAH each to implement their business ideas.
“We witnessed the birth of a new Ukrainian entrepreneurship — courageous, conscious, and inspired. Each idea is a story of strength, resilience, and love for one’s work. For many veterans, starting their own business is not only a path to self-employment but also a way to feel needed in their communities again,” said Olena Tanasiychuk, President of the ‘Public Resources and Initiatives’ Charity Foundation.
Selecting the winners among 22 participants was an extremely challenging task, as each business plan reflected a unique journey — from military service to entrepreneurship, from defending the state to building the future in peaceful life.
The winners and their business ideas:
“Victory is not only on the battlefield. It is in every step when a veteran finds the strength to start a new life. We believe that these ideas will become examples for others and turn into true success stories,” emphasized Olena Tanasiychuk.
