The “Zhurt-UA” Network is Growing: Youth NGO “Sfera Molodi” from Chernihiv Joins the Partnership

The “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation announces the expansion of the “Zhurt-UA” network of civil society organizations. The Youth NGO “Sfera Molodi” from Chernihiv has joined the network by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation, becoming part of an interregional community working to develop human capital and support local communities across Ukraine.

A Network Built on Real Collaboration

Zhurt-UA” emerged in 2024 as a response to the need among CSOs to pool resources and experience for greater collective impact. Founded by the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, the network initially united partner institutions from several regions.

The first members included:

  • Public Resources and Initiatives (Chernivtsi) — founder
  • Humanitarian Hub East–West (Kharkiv)
  • Eleos-Dnipro (Dnipro)
  • Small Business Development Fund (Kyiv)

Over the past year, “Zhurt-UA” has evolved into an effective platform for interregional cooperation, enabling organizations to scale their initiatives, exchange knowledge, and implement joint projects.

A Mission and Vision that Unite Regions

During the strategic session of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, held in early November 2025, the network’s strategic foundations were renewed. These definitions now serve as the shared framework for all members of “Zhurt-UA.”

Mission of the Network

We unite people, communities, and initiatives to develop human capital, respond effectively to challenges, and build a free, dignified, and democratic society in Ukraine.

Vision of the Network

A resilient civil society network that systematically implements projects creating spaces for development and improving the quality of life across Ukraine.

Values that Shape the Network’s Culture

Human-centeredness, Ukrainian identity, freedom, dignity, trust, sustainable development, equality, openness, democracy, humanity, multiculturalism, and mutual support — because at the center is always the PERSON.

Why “Sfera Molodi” Is an Important Addition

The inclusion of NGO “Sfera Molodi” brings expanded expertise and geographic reach to the network. The organization has significant experience working with youth, supporting vulnerable groups, and implementing social initiatives in Chernihiv and the region.

The cooperation will include:

  • joint interregional project implementation;
  • exchange of experience and resources;
  • development of youth, humanitarian, and educational programs;
  • strengthening community resilience;
  • participation in network events and shared strategic initiatives.

“Zhurt-UA is a space of trust and mutual support. We created a network that enables regions to hear one another, pool strengths, and respond together to the challenges of our time. The addition of ‘Sfera Molodi’ proves we are moving in the right direction. They bring experience, energy, and a deep understanding of the needs of youth and communities. Together we can do more — for people, for regions, for Ukraine.”
Olena Tanasiychuk, President of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation

Cooperation and Future Growth

The signed Memorandum outlines cooperation between the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation and NGO “Sfera Molodi” based on partnership principles — transparency, equality, mutual support, and readiness to co-create projects.

Zhurt-UA” continues to grow and remains open to organizations that share the values of solidarity, humanity, and responsibility toward their communities.
