The Foundation Marked the Day of Dignity and Freedom Together with Schoolchildren

21 November is a special day for every Ukrainian. It is the Day of Dignity and Freedom — a reminder of the strength of our people, of the choice we made, and of the path we have been following for eleven years. Today, the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation spent this day together with schoolchildren for whom the events of the Revolution of Dignity are not merely memories, but a part of their growing up in a country that continues to fight.

During the Revolution of Dignity, these children were very young. Now they are teenagers who already understand a great deal and clearly know what Freedom and Dignity mean. That is why we wanted to experience this day together — in quiet reflection, thoughtfulness, truth, and light.

During the meeting, the children viewed Eduard Hapich’s exhibition “With Love in Memory” — an exposition of warm memories and bright stories about truly dignified people, our Defenders. The exhibition became a place where one can feel with the heart what stands behind the word “Heroism.”

A particularly touching moment were the poems by Foundation member Nataliia Heiman, which the schoolchildren listened to with held breath. And the screening of a film from the 22nd Traveling International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA, presented by Foundation member Nataliia Filiak, added depth and silence — that special inner silence born of awareness.

This day reminded us that the strength of Ukraine lies in our people. In those who stand strong. In those who preserve memory. And especially — in our children. They grow up understanding what we are fighting for and believing in a future that will undoubtedly be free.

For Freedom and Dignity. For Ukraine.
