The Foundation Continues to Support Veterans’ Families: Interview Preparation Training Held in Chernivtsi

The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation continues its systematic work to support families of veterans and servicewomen, aimed at expanding their opportunities in employment, professional development, and self-realization.

In Chernivtsi, a practical training titled “How to Successfully Pass a Job Interview” was held at the Veteran Development Center of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The event brought together participants interested in confidently returning to—or entering—the labor market.

During the training, participants gained practical knowledge and tools, including:

  • how to create a modern CV and tailor it to a specific vacancy;
  • how to prepare for an interview and effectively present one’s experience and competencies;
  • how to respond to challenging and unexpected interview questions;
  • which common mistakes to avoid during interviews;
  • how to maintain confidence and inner resilience throughout the job search process.

Special attention was given to the challenges faced by veterans, servicewomen, and their family members—such as adapting to the civilian labor market, overcoming self-doubt, and finding employment aligned with personal values and life experience.

“We are working to ensure that veterans’ families receive not only support, but also practical tools to restore economic self-reliance and achieve dignified self-realization. Trainings like this are a tangible step toward new opportunities and a confident future,” said Olena Tanasiichuk, President of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation.

The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation will continue to implement educational and mentoring activities for veterans, servicewomen, and their family members, contributing to their integration into professional life and to community development.
