Launch of a Humanitarian Home Winterization Project for Vulnerable Families in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts

The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation announces the launch of the humanitarian project “Humanitarian Support for Vulnerable Households: Home Winterization,” implemented with the financial support of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The project aims to provide urgent assistance to 350 vulnerable households in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts whose homes have been damaged as a result of the war or lack adequate conditions for safe living during the winter period.

Project Overview

Within the project, families will receive winterization kits designed to retain warmth and enhance household safety during winter. Each kit is provided as a single, indivisible unit and includes essential heating, lighting, and autonomous power items, in particular:

  • gas-electric heater with ceramic panels;
  • blankets;
  • power bank;
  • flashlight;
  • materials for insulating windows, doors, and thermal contours of the home;
  • fire extinguisher;
  • heat-resistant protective screen.

This assistance is not only about warmth—it is about humanity, care, and a sense of safety for those who need it most.
