The Foundation’s team participated in the training “Methods of Effective Communication and Teamwork in Crisis Conditions,” which was held online within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation.” The project is implemented by the Foundation with technical support from UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).

WPHF is a flexible and rapid financing mechanism that supports high-quality initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of local women to prevent conflicts, respond to crises and emergencies, and seize key opportunities for peacebuilding.
A total of 25 representatives of the Foundation’s regional teams from different cities across Ukraine joined the training, including Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, and Chernihiv. Many of them work in communities facing heightened security risks, where clear communication, rapid coordination, and mutual support are critical for effective operations.
During the training, participants worked with practical scenarios of crisis interaction, discussed common communication challenges during stress and uncertainty, and practiced tools that help maintain team effectiveness in difficult conditions. The team explored how to formulate short and clear messages in crisis situations, how to communicate with aid recipients, how to reduce tension in difficult conversations, and how to align roles and action protocols within a team.

“In times of war, effective internal communication becomes the foundation of an organization’s resilience. When people work across different regions and often in difficult conditions, trust, support, and clarity of interaction help us remain a strong team and continue helping those who need it,” said Olena Tanasiichuk, President of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation.
Such training activities are part of the Foundation’s systematic efforts to strengthen organizational resilience, support its team, and foster a culture of open and responsible communication.
