A Mother of a Ukrainian Defender from Bukovyna Develops Her Own Business and Inspires Others

In the Chernivtsi region lives Natalia Verstiuk — the mother of a Ukrainian Defender, a strong and tireless woman who works every day to grow her own business and support the economic resilience of her community.

Ms. Natalia is engaged in cultivating licensed plants, as well as selling flowers, seedlings, and trees. Her work is not only about business — it is also a contribution to the recovery and development of the country. Through her efforts, she demonstrates how even in challenging circumstances it is possible to create opportunities, stay results-oriented, and keep moving forward.

Natalia’s story is an example of strength, resilience, and belief in one’s own path. People like her form the foundation of Ukraine’s economic stability and inspire others not to give up.

We invite you to watch the video below and hear this story firsthand. It may become the first step for someone toward launching their own business idea — just as it did for participants of the business school implemented within the project of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, “Reintegration of Veterans and Their Family Members through Educational Opportunities,” supported by DVV International Ukraine.
