The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation continues its work to support children through the organization of restorative children’s camps. Following the implementation of the initiative “Give Kindness. Children-to-Children: Bukovynian Holidays,” the Foundation plans to further develop this format of assistance and engage socially responsible business partners.
The “Bukovynian Holidays” project is aimed at providing psychosocial support and short-term recovery opportunities for children from frontline and frequently shelled regions of Ukraine. The programme offers a safe restorative camp away from the war zone, creative workshops, team games, outdoor activities, and communication with peers. Such initiatives help children change their environment, reduce anxiety, and feel the support of adults and the community.
To continue the programme, the Foundation is working to attract charitable contributions and partnership support. One important step in this direction was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the network of Tetiana Holikova Podology Centres and the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation.
This partnership is an example of how Ukrainian businesses, even while operating under the constant challenges of war, are ready to join socially important initiatives and create long-term social impact.
The Memorandum provides for the pooling of efforts to implement the charitable initiatives “Give Kindness. Children-to-Children” and “Give Kindness. Children-to-Children: Bukovynian Holidays,” aimed at supporting children from vulnerable groups, including children from war-affected communities, children of servicemen and servicewomen, internally displaced children, and other socially vulnerable groups.
As part of the cooperation, the partner may support the collection of charitable contributions among clients, introduce charitable fundraising mechanisms, display the Foundation’s informational materials, and contribute to the implementation of the initiatives.
“It is important for us not to stop at one camp, but to create sustainable opportunities to support children who are experiencing the consequences of war. We are grateful to businesses that understand their social responsibility and are ready to contribute to real change,” said Nataliia Heiman, Coordinator of the Child and Youth Support Programme at the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation.
The Foundation emphasizes that children’s camps are not just about recreation. They are safe spaces where children can recover emotionally, feel cared for, find new friends, and, at least for a few days, step out of the context of constant tension.
The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation invites businesses, teams, and caring individuals to cooperate and support the continuation of the programme of restorative children’s camps.
Together, we can give children more safety, warmth, and recovery.
