Over the course of three days in Odesa, the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation held a Business School for veterans, female veterans, and members of their families.
These were days of getting to know one another, learning, working together, discussing business ideas, and searching for new opportunities for professional self-realization. Participants came to the training with different experiences, plans, and ideas. Among the business concepts they worked on were opening a car service station, a greenhouse, a newspaper, developing rehabilitation and wellness centers, a water purification service, and other areas of entrepreneurship.

During the Business School, participants had the opportunity to work more deeply on their ideas, ask questions, receive practical advice, and look at their future projects from a new perspective.
Thanks to trainer Oksana Palagecha, an atmosphere of trust, support, and open dialogue was created, where everyone could speak freely, share their vision, and receive feedback.
“These three days were filled with work, discussions, new knowledge, and useful connections. I noticed that the doubts people brought with them on the first day began to disappear as soon as we started the training and showed examples of businesses that had already been launched with the support of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation,” said Olena Tanasiichuk, organizer of the Business School and President of the Foundation.
The Business School became a place where participants not only gained new knowledge but also received support, inspiration, and confidence in their own abilities. There were many ideas, many conversations, and a strong desire to move forward.
The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation sincerely thanks all participants for their openness, active involvement, and willingness to work on their own ideas.
We believe in each and every one of them. And we believe that very soon new veteran-owned businesses and new success stories will emerge in Odesa — stories that are already being born today.
We also extend our special thanks to the WOG filling station network for the delicious coffee breaks and their continued support of veteran business schools.
