We Are Starting! New Opportunities for Young Women Leaders in Ukraine

The Charity Foundation “Public Resources and Initiatives”, in partnership with the German organization KWB Koordinierungsstelle Weiterbildung und Beschäftigung e.V. and with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, is officially launching a new ambitious project — “Young Female Leaders School on EU Integration”!

This initiative is designed to unlock and strengthen the leadership potential of young women who want to actively contribute to the development of their communities, engage in democratic processes, and support Ukraine’s European integration path.

📍 Where will the project be implemented?

The project will cover three key regions:

  • Chernivtsi and Chernivtsi oblast;
  • Kyiv and Kyiv oblast;
  • Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

What awaits the participants?

Our goal is to create a safe and inspiring space for learning, practice, support, and open dialogue. Within the School, young women will be able to:

🇪🇺 gain a deeper understanding of European values, the work of EU institutions, and tools for civic participation;
💪 strengthen their leadership, communication, and project-related soft skills;
🛠 learn how to develop real social and civic initiatives from scratch;
🤝 receive professional mentoring support to improve their own ideas;
🏆 submit their completed projects to a mini-grant competition and receive resources to implement them.

🔥 The first step has already been taken!

We began our work with an extremely important stage — the online training “European Models of Supporting Women Leaders” for the project mentors and trainers, who will accompany the participants throughout their journey.

Thanks to the incredible Berlin-based trainer Yuliia Vorozhtsova, our team explored the nuances of mentoring and coaching in detail and gained insight into successful European models of supporting women leaders.

There is a lot of work, inspiration, and real change ahead!
