Business School for Veterans and Their Family Members Held in Dnipro

Dnipro is a city of strong, courageous and determined people who know what they want and are ready to make every effort to achieve their goals.

A frontline city. And however powerful these words may sound today, behind them stand daily resilience, responsibility, mutual support and a readiness to act.

Over the course of two days, Dnipro hosted a Business School for male and female veterans, members of their families and internally displaced persons. These two days demonstrated one important thing: the participants have a strong desire to move forward, grow, start their own businesses and build their future with their own hands.

During the training, the participants:

• worked on their own business ideas;
• analysed the needs of potential customers;
• identified their target audiences;
• developed their value propositions;
• learned how to plan finances and assess risks;
• transformed their ideas into realistic business plans.

These were two intensive days filled with practical work, discussions, questions, mutual support and honest conversations about challenges, doubts and opportunities.

We saw not simply people with business ideas, but future entrepreneurs with valuable life experience, inner strength, a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to work hard.

The participants will now receive two months of mentoring support. During this period, they will be able to further develop their business ideas, receive professional advice and take the next steps towards launching or growing their own businesses.

Special thanks go to trainer and mentor Oksana Palagecha for her professionalism, practical approach, support and ability to help participants see opportunities even where, at first, there seemed to be only doubts.

This is an important and thoughtful gesture of care for those who support others every day and help keep Ukraine strong.

Dnipro has once again proved that it is a city of people who do not wait for better times, but create them themselves.
