In Kyiv, Participants of the “Leadership School for Young Women in European Integration” Worked on Their Own Project Ideas

On 13–14 August 2026, another offline training stage took place in Kyiv within the project “Leadership School for Young Women in European Integration.” Over two days, participants developed practical skills in communication and project management and began preparing their own civic initiatives.

The training programme focused on professional communication in the public sphere, mediation and negotiation, working with information and countering disinformation and fake news, as well as the fundamentals of project management.

A separate block was dedicated to turning an idea into a concrete project: identifying the problem and target audience, formulating the goal and expected results, planning activities, preparing a grant application, and subsequently organizing implementation, monitoring, and reporting.

A significant part of the training was practice-oriented. Participants worked individually and in groups, analysed their own ideas, discussed possible solutions, and gradually developed concepts for future initiatives.

An important part of this stage was the participants’ introduction to their mentors, who will support them in the next phase of their work. After completing the training modules, participants will continue developing their project ideas together with their mentors and preparing them for presentation.

Thus, the project is moving from the learning stage to the practical phase — applying the knowledge gained to create participants’ own civic initiatives.
