On 17–18 August 2026, another offline training stage took place in Chernivtsi within the project “Leadership School for Young Women in European Integration.” Participants strengthened their practical skills in communication, working with information, and project management, while also developing their own project ideas.
Over the two days, the training programme covered professional communication in the public sphere, mediation and negotiation, working with information and countering disinformation, as well as the fundamentals of project management — from developing an idea to preparing a grant application and planning its implementation.
A significant part of the training was practice-oriented. Participants analysed the problems and needs of their communities, identified target audiences, formulated goals and expected results, planned activities, and worked on budgets for their future initiatives.
Special attention was given to how to turn an idea into a realistic project. Participants asked questions, discussed different approaches, tested their assumptions, searched for solutions, and further developed their initial concepts.
The completion of this training stage also marks the beginning of the next one — mentoring support for the development of participants’ own project applications. With the support of their mentors, participants will continue refining their ideas and preparing them for presentation.
The training modules in Chernivtsi were part of a series of offline sessions also held in Dnipro and Kyiv. Participants will be able to apply the knowledge and practical tools gained during the programme to the development and implementation of their own civic initiatives.
We thank every participant for her active engagement, persistence, openness to new knowledge, and willingness to contribute to positive change in her community.
The next stage will include mentoring support, further development of project ideas, and their presentation. We are moving forward — from learning to participants’ own initiatives.
The project “Leadership School for Young Women in European Integration” is implemented by the Charity Foundation “Public Resources and Initiatives” in partnership with KWB Koordinierungsstelle Weiterbildung und Beschäftigung e.V., with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany (Auswärtiges Amt).
