Entrepreneurship School for Veterans and Their Families Continues Across Communities in Chernivtsi Oblast

The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, together with the Chernivtsi Regional Employment Centre, continues to run its Entrepreneurship School for veterans, both men and women, and their family members. The sessions help participants turn business ideas into concrete plans for starting or developing their own businesses.

Training sessions have already taken place in Vyzhnytsia and Chernivtsi. The school brings together participants from different communities who want to apply their experience to entrepreneurship and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.

During the sessions, participants work on ideas for opening workshops, providing services, and developing manufacturing and agricultural businesses. Particular attention is also given to those who already run a business and are looking for ways to grow it further.

Trainer Oksana Palagecha from Kyiv helps participants understand how to start a business, assess risks, plan expenses, and identify opportunities for business support. The training centres on practical work with participants’ ideas, discussing their questions, and finding concrete solutions.

Resilience, responsibility, and the ability to act in difficult circumstances can provide a strong foundation for entrepreneurship. The school aims to build on this experience by providing the knowledge and tools needed to establish businesses, create jobs, and contribute to community development.

The training programme also includes sessions in Velykyi Kuchuriv on 5 October, Hertsa on 6 October, and Khotyn on 7 October.

Participation is free, with advance registration required.
