Representatives of the Foundation took part in the “Festival of Thoughts”

“The Festival of Thoughts is an annual intellectual meeting, a platform for discussing socially important issues, which was launched in 2017 in Luhansk region.
It is here that everyone can join discussions about important issues and receive quality feedback.
 
This year, our Foundation also joined the Festival. In addition to our representatives, about 600 other people took part in the eighth festival.
It was held in Kyiv on the territory of the St. Sophia of Kyiv Reserve.

All the discussions were united by the theme “10 Years of War: Experience that Changes the Nation” and were held at 3 open-air locations.
The participants discussed the challenges of the war, such as the problems of veterans, memorialization, the Ukrainian east, disinformation, children under occupation, people's decisions to return to the TOT or to the war zones, etc.
The youngest ones were not forgotten either: a bright children's space was organized for them with the help of the Zatyshno Space network. All guests had the opportunity to join educational games and see photo exhibitions, including “Chronicles of Evacuation” about the activities of the Vostok SOS team. The event also included a screening and discussion of the film and a cozy concert by the Prystaniya band.

We are grateful to the organizers of Vostok SOS for the thoughtful topics and locations. For the photos from the evacuations, for the incredible speakers, for the opportunity to hear our thoughts from people who are changing Ukraine today.
