Viktor Pavliuk – Member of the Foundation’s Audit Commission

A physicist and physics teacher by training, he graduated from Chernivtsi State University in 1979. He began his professional career at research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

He has extensive experience in public administration, local government and economic development. From 1991 to 1994, he chaired Chernivtsi City Council and its Executive Committee. He headed the Chernivtsi Regional Employment Centre and served as Deputy and First Deputy Head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration.

He worked as Chief Economist of the Trade and Economic Mission at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic, Deputy and First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. From 2016 to 2019, he served as Adviser to the Chair of the Board of the State Innovative Financial and Credit Institution.

He holds the honorary title of Honoured Economist of Ukraine and has been awarded the Order of Merit, Third Class, and the “To the Glory of Chernivtsi” Medal.
