Round Table on Criminal Procedural Legislation Reform

On February 26, 2016, participation in the organization and implementation of a round table discussion on the reform of criminal procedural legislation (in cooperation with Member of Parliament of Ukraine Leonid Yemets).

Purpose of the event – to develop unified approaches to the application of procedural coercive measures in criminal proceedings, and to discuss necessary amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code aimed at optimizing the legal application of preventive measures.

Participants included Members of the Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine, judges of the High Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases, judges of local general courts, lawyers, and media representatives.
