Project Title: Preparation and Management of Cross-Border Projects with Financial Support from GTZ

Project Goal:
The aim of the project was to support the project-based activities of village councils, rural communities, civil society organizations, and media outlets, aimed at the socio-economic development of border regions. This was achieved through training on project development procedures and project management.

Project Implementation:
A series of four one-day training seminars was held for NGO leaders, local government representatives, and media professionals:

  • Chernivtsi: 1 training, 25 participants (from Chernivtsi, Kitsman, and Zastavna districts)
  • Hlyboka (urban-type settlement): 1 training, 25 participants (from Hlyboka, Hertsa, and Novoselytsia districts)
  • Vyzhnytsia: 1 training, 25 participants (from Vyzhnytsia, Putyla, and Storozhynets districts)
  • Khotyn: 1 training, 25 participants (from Khotyn, Kelmentsi, and Sokyriany districts)

During the seminars, participants received information on European and Ukrainian regional policies and cross-border cooperation. They developed skills in writing core components of project proposals and studied key elements of project management. Practical recommendations were provided to potential applicants.
