The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, in partnership with the Chernivtsi Regional Employment Centre, continues to run its Entrepreneurship School for veterans, both women and men, and their family members in communities across the region. This time, the training took place in Hertsa and Khotyn.
We decided to bring the training closer to people instead of waiting until everyone interested could travel to Chernivtsi. There, we met participants eager to grow, try something new, start their own businesses and strengthen their communities.
Some arrived with a business idea, some are still exploring their options, while others want to expand a business they have already started. During the sessions, participants worked on turning their ideas into practical steps: deciding what to offer, identifying their customers, estimating costs and exploring sources of support.
It is especially rewarding to see confidence grow during the training, as “I think, perhaps…” gradually becomes a clear idea and an action plan. These conversations also revealed participants’ desire to make a difference in their communities by providing much-needed services, developing local businesses and creating opportunities for others.
We thank our trainer, Oksana Palagecha, for her practical knowledge, energy and willingness to travel to places where her expertise is particularly needed today. We also thank the Chernivtsi Regional Employment Centre for its partnership and collaboration!
Our Entrepreneurship School continues its work in communities across the Chernivtsi region. Because there can never be too many opportunities for a fresh start.
