An expert roundtable on security policy on NATO's eastern flank was held in Constanța.

The concluding Ukrainian-Romanian expert roundtable of the general cycle, "Shaping Security Policy on NATO's Eastern Flank: Romania's Role in the Ukrainian Case," was held in Constanța on July 3, 2024. The event brought together government representatives and scholars from Ukraine and Romania.

The Casa Mării Negre / Black Sea House Association, the Public Resources and Initiatives Charitable Foundation, the Chernivtsi Regional Council, and the Center for Political Narratives of Democracy NGO organized the roundtable.

Participants from Ukraine included:

  • Mykhailo Pavliuk, Deputy Head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council, PhD in Political Science;
  • Serhii Hakman, Deputy Director of the Chernivtsi Regional Center for Advanced Training, Vice President of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charitable Foundation, PhD in History, Associate Professor;
  • Nataliia Nechaeva-Yuriiuk, Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, member of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charitable Foundation, PhD in History;
  • Yevhen Mahda, Director of the Institute of World Policy NGO, Associate Professor at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute," PhD in Political Science;
