Gifts for children sent from west to east

Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region — a region that endures daily missile attacks and was temporarily occupied by Russian forces. The children of Kharkiv know firsthand what war is, having fully experienced the horrors brought to our land by the invaders.

For this reason, we could not overlook this resilient region and delivered gifts for St. Nicholas Day from schoolchildren in Chernivtsi.

Our Kharkiv team — Oleksandr Yalovol and the "East-West Humanitarian Hub"—visited schools in Kharkiv and frontline villages, bringing warmth from the children of Chernivtsi to their peers. Smiles, joyful eyes, and the unwrapping of gifts from their counterparts—what could be more rewarding than the results of our shared efforts?

Giving kindness is both easy and, at the same time, hard work. Yet people with sincere hearts are saving this world from indifference! And so, we will live and create!
