The “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation has signed a memorandum of partnership with the Chernivtsi Regional Council. The agreement was concluded within the project “Reintegration of War Veterans through Creating Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours” and aims to strengthen the social and economic reintegration of veterans—women and men—and their families in the Chernivtsi region.
The partnership provides for coordinated joint actions to develop accessible training and retraining programs, career counseling, mentoring support, as well as expanded opportunities for employment and starting one’s own business. Particular attention will be paid to the accessibility of educational services, the adaptation of learning materials, and collaboration with regional employers.
“Signing the memorandum with the Chernivtsi Regional Council is another step toward systemic solutions for our defenders, women and men. Together with our partners, we are building a clear pathway: from needs assessment and training to real employment and a dignified return to civilian life. We thank the Regional Council for their trust and our shared vision of how support should work in practice,” said Olena Tanasiichuk, President of the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation.
In the near future, the parties plan to approve a joint action plan, conduct additional analysis of the educational and professional needs of the veteran community in the region, and announce new intakes for training programs.
The project “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours”, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
